STRIEBIG for Plastic Sheet Processing

Plastic fabricators work with sheets that vary widely in size, rigidity, density, thickness, and finish. Acrylic, polycarbonate, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, ABS, nylon, phenolics, and laminates can each present different cutting and handling requirements.

STRIEBIG provides a supported, repeatable path for straight sizing cuts, short runs, oversized sheets, and rectangular components. The vertical support wall and base rollers help one operator position large or flexible panels while minimizing unsupported material movement.

A CNC router remains the better choice for nested parts, curves, holes, and complex machining. A lighter-duty panel saw may also be sufficient for occasional rough sizing. STRIEBIG makes sense when straight cutting is frequent and cut quality, controlled panel handling, daily reliability, and multiple operators justify the investment.

Which STRIEBIG Fits Your Plastic Operation?

The right model depends on your largest sheet dimensions, material thickness and density, required cut quality, daily volume, and whether digital measurement or automated positioning would remove a recurring bottleneck.

Higher automation is useful when dimensions repeat and cutting volume justifies it. It is not automatically necessary simply because the material is plastic.
