Field Service Technician, Level I
Swiss Panel Saws & CNC Grinding Machines
Location: Ontario, CA
Job Description
Colonial Saw is a leading importer of Woodworking Equipment and CNC controlled machinery from Italy, Switzerland, and Turkey. The machines are used to support the Primary and Secondary lumber industry, Cabinet making shops, Woodworking industry, etc; And in grinding shops all over North America to grind carbide and HSS tools used in the wood, plastics, metal and composites industries.
We are looking for a mechanical/electric oriented Field Service Technician, level 1. Candidates should have training and/or experience working with basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems. Applicants must be able to read and interpret schematics and have an understanding of electronics and common Windows PC software. Deep expertise is not required, but a working knowledge is necessary to be successful.
This position is "Field Service"; applicants should expect 40-50% overnight travel throughout the U.S. with some opportunity for international travel. The company reimburses all reasonable business expenses, including: mileage, airfare, lodging, and meals per diem.

We are looking for a multi-talented experienced Field Service Technician/Engineer, level III. Candidates should have training and/or experience working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems. Applicants must be able to read and interpret schematics and have an understanding of electronics, motion controls, relay logic and Windows PC software. A strong working knowledge of intermediate math and logic skills (algebra, geometry, and common business math) are expected.
This position is "Field Service"; applicants should expect 50% overnight travel. Destinations are mostly domestic but some international. The company reimburses all reasonable business expenses, including: mileage, airfare, lodging, and meals per diem.
