Vertical Panel Saws for Aluminum Composite Material

Accurate sizing. Repeatable grooving. Compact footprint.

STRIEBIG for ACM Fabrication

If most of your ACM work consists of straight sizing cuts and linear grooves, STRIEBIG can handle that work without occupying your CNC or adding another horizontal production system.

Fabricators use STRIEBIG to cut oversized panels, produce controlled grooves for folding, complete short runs, and respond to revised dimensions. The vertical format minimizes floor-space requirements while keeping finished panels supported during processing.

A lighter saw/router system may be sufficient for occasional ACM work. STRIEBIG makes sense when accuracy, repeatability, machine life, and dependable daily production justify the additional investment.

Striebig-ACM-Grooving

STRIEBIG developed its aluminum composite panel grooving system with AluSuisse , the inventor of the material. Available tooling includes 90° and 135° V-profile cutters and a U-profile cutter for large radius bends.

Compact, Compact Plus, and Standard saws can be retrofitted for grooving. For all other STRIEBIG models, grooving must be specified when the machine is ordered.

Why ACM Fabricators Choose STRIEBIG

The value is not simply that STRIEBIG cuts ACM. The value is getting consistent, installation-ready panels from a machine intended to remain accurate and productive over the long term.

Which STRIEBIG Fits Your ACM Operation?

The right starting point depends on panel dimensions, production frequency, groove requirements, and how much measuring and positioning assistance you need.

Higher automation is useful when repeated positioning and production volume justify it. It is not automatically necessary for accurate ACM fabrication.

Model Operation Choose It When
Compact Manual You need an economical entry point for regular ACM cutting and grooving in common panel sizes.
Compact Plus Manual You regularly process panels longer than 10 feet and want included Y-axis measurement, additional staging space, and greater cutting length without stepping up to the Standard platform.
Standard Manual You need a heavier, expandable platform for frequent panel processing, mixed materials, or more demanding daily use.
Standard S Manual with Comfort Package You want Standard capacity with additional positioning, measuring, and material-handling assistance.
Evolution Manual travel with automated setup functions You want touchscreen guidance, digital measurement, and automated setup while retaining manual saw travel.
Control Highly automated Repetitive dimensions and production volume justify electronic positioning, automatic saw travel, and connected workflow options.

Start With the Right Configuration

CSAW can help identify the configuration that fits—without adding capacity or automation you won’t use.

Proven in Architectural ACM Fabrication

Karas & Karas Glass replaced table-saw and handheld-router processing with STRIEBIG vertical panel saws. The company reported better consistency, cleaner processing, less panel handling, and substantially lower labor requirements.
