How to start using the Lamello Zeta P2
Hey everyone, this is Chris from Lamello USA. Today we’re going to unpack the Zeta machine for you, show you everything that comes in the machine and what it’s used for. So let’s get obviously started.
Got your Zeta machine. One of the most important accessories is the stop square. We’ve got a few other videos that show you just exclusively how to use the stop square—super handy accessory.
Next, you’re going to find the two spacer plates that can be used on the flip stop of the Zeta. One is two millimeters thick, another one is four millimeters thick. Once again, you’re going to see me use these in other videos.
Also comes with the Clamex drill jig kit. So it’s got the six millimeter spiral drill bit with a small Allen wrench to adjust the stop collar. It comes with the drill guide with the bushing on it for the drill bit and it comes with a P10 and a P14 drill block that you fasten on to the guide itself with this knurled nut.
That’s for aligning the hole for drilling a hole for the Clamex connector. Also in the bag that comes with the drill jig, you’re going to find this oval dust stub. The machine comes with a standard 36 millimeter dust stub that you’ll see on the Zeta. This will fit right up to standard 36 millimeter vacuum hoses. But again, you still do have this oval hose if you want to use it for our flexible hose kit.
Then in another package, you’ll see the Torx wrench—the 25 millimeter T25 Torx wrench that’s used for changing the cutter. There’s another video that shows you how to do that.
There’s an extra pair of anti-slip cushions that go on the front of the Zeta. There’s the five millimeter Allen wrench for changing and protecting the handle and for also removing the locking nut at the bottom of the back of the cassette.
There’s also another small Allen wrench that we’ll be showing in another video on how you can make a micro depth adjustment.
Lamello includes a sample bag of connectors and a wood biscuit, instruction manual, product guide, stickers—everybody loves stickers.
All of this goes back into the Systainer case. In the standard case you’ll see a little angle guide—that’s a little reference chart to help you use the Zeta in different angles and configurations.
